As the world appears to be deliberately distracted by the pandemic, do we meet Gog?
President Vladimir Putin could now be the leader of Russia for years to come. He has been very active, trying to keep Russia as a military superpower. Can we now identify Putin as “the prince of Roth, Meshech and Tubal” in Ezekiel chapters 38-39?
A lot of people thought it was fun, but there is something to find that is better than Pokemon. They even brought Mr Bean out of retirement for Pokemon but there is something better to pursue. Some said Pokemon was a test for the globalists to find our location by phone. Quite possible in this increasingly deceptive world. But has the Lord anything in a certain place for believers to seek?
China’s new ‘social credit score’ system is looking like it has prophetic potential (practice makes perfect) – a mark from the East? So, apparently, having been given most of the world’s manufacturing is not enough. Nor is it enough to have built the biggest armed forces of all time. Now, China is employing this ‘mark from the East’ on her own population. Could this be the model from which the real “mark of the beast” will come?
‘Holy grails’ for Christian youth are things that young people can become obsessed about. Things we can be tempted to pursue without godly discernment.
We are not talking about the medieval legend of the holy grail. That is a myth. The Bible puts no importance on the cup that Christ used at the Last Supper. (or on the other cups that He drank from, for that matter). But things can become like a ‘holy grail’ that we chase recklessly.
One of the names for the Antichrist is “the Assyrian”, but he is the future Assyrian. There are a number of influential world leaders today who come from the area of that ancient empire known as Assyria.
Is the prophecy of a type of person or of the racial origin of the Antichrist? There are two strong leaders today who just might fit these descriptions.
